Real life Bambi rescue: deers rescued from frozen lake
THREE stricken deer were thrown a lifeline after being towed off frozen lake by a cop on a hovercraft. James Kenison and his father Doug drove a quarter of a mile onto frozen Albert Lea Lake in Minnesota to save the stranded animals. The pair, who run a hovercraft tour company, tied ropes round the tired deers and dragged them to shore. The compassionate rescue was captured on camera by James, who said he believed the deer had been out on the lake for days after being unable to walk on the slick ice.

Imagine you're sitting on the tube, minding you're own business when suddenly - the doors open and Rihanna gets on.
Just a dream?
Not for commuters in London when the 23-year-old hopped on the Jubilee underground line to get to the 02 Arena for her concert.
Rhi Rhi used her own Oyster travel card to take the journey when she joined the carriage at North Greenwich station.
The Man Down singer then hopped off the train to perform a killer show.
