Life Cycle UK is a Bristol-based charity that works to inspire, educate, equip and connects like-minded people with the knowledge and confidence to make cycling part of their everyday lives, reaping the benefits of physical exercise and using it as a practical means of transport. They run practical activities such as cycle training, organise awareness-raising events, provide help with bike maintenance, cycle maps and other literature, and organise conferences and seminars. Cycling training is a one of the important activities they engage, teaching people of all ages to ride safely and skillfully.

This video feature looks forward to the adventures of a group of three Brits - two of which are sisters Serena and Tamsin Davies - who have just set out to explore some of the world’s most dangerous disaster areas.
They call themselves ‘Fault Line Living’ and they are an education project raising awareness about the benefits and drawbacks of living alongside volcanoes and earthquake zones.
With the help of a bursary provided by the Royal Geographical Society and Land Rover, they are journeying 15,000 miles though Iceland, Italy, Greece, Turkey and Iran to document the complex relationship people have with their environment.

Silverlight enables the development of great UIs that engage users and Metastorm has used it to make user experience the focus of their products. In this demo-driven session, we explore how MVVM was used in the development of a large scale RIA framework for Metastorm's portfolio of commercial applications. We look at samples, what were the benefits, the challenges, when not to use MVVM, and the costs of not using it. We also look at the dynamic generation of ViewModels from ODATA services to apply MVVM and separation of concerns in business process management applications.
