Footage of cooling towers being demolished at Didcot power station
THREE huge cooling towers at a disused power station have been blown up using 180kg of explosives. The coal-fueled power station, which has been a fixture of the skyline since 1970, ceased generating in March 2013.

US President Barack Obama made an appearance at a bar in Denver, Colorado, on Tuesday, July 8, en route from the airport to downtown. He met with locals at Wazee Supper Club, and the visit turned out to be a surreal experience. Not only did Obama shake hands with someone wearing a horse’s head, but he was also offered a hit of marijuana, now legal in the state. The president laughed when the cheeky local asked, “Want a hit, man”? Credit: YouTube/mrmanton1989
