Psychedelic alien-like creature spotted in Bristol
IT was a mystery that took the internet by storm but the Bristol harbour 'alien' has been exposed as an elaborate stunt to promote a new TV show. Bristolians took to social media this week to report the appearance of a bioluminescent giant squid-like creature pulsing beneath the water in the city's harbour. Videos and images shot by stunned locals of the tentacled alien-like being first appeared on Tuesday (December 3). Within hours, speculation about the creature's identity reached fever pitch on social media, chat rooms and message boards. On YouTube, where views on one video reached 120,000, some believed it was the work of Bristol artist Banksy while others were more cynical. But as these exclusive pictures show, the "alien" was in fact the work of the team at TV channel Watch who created the captivating ‘creature’. The viral video was designed to promote a new magic and illusion TV show, 'The Happenings'. The follows magicians Barry and Stuart as they set about making the unbelievable believable to the unsuspecting residents of towns across the UK and America. 'The Happenings' launches of Monday 9 December at 9pm on channel Watch.

Olympic Gold Medalist Jessica Ennis Gives Her Support to ParalympicGB
British Airways has teamed up with Olympic athletes Jessica Ennis, Louis Smith, Greg Rutherford and Zoe Smith who all give their messages of support to the ParalympicGB squad, coinciding with the kick off of the London 2012 Paralympic Games.
British Airways created the video with the theme 'we are alongside you…' inspired by the definition of Paralympics games which many people are unaware of. Its origin is from the Greek prefix 'Para' which translates as 'beside' or 'alongside', as the Paralympic Games run in parallel to the Olympic Games.
