Fresh from unleashing its latest high-tech cleaners, the DC47 cylinder vacuum and the DC50 upright vacuum cleaner, Dyson set its engineers another challenge – with a bit of a twist.
The objective was to design a remote controlled car using a ball and spare Dyson parts. The British electronics giant had over 50 engineers take part and, after three weeks of development, the winning car was chosen.
Made up of different mechanics and Dyson parts, the team took an iterative approach engineering a robust and highly manoeuvrable vehicle. Check out the video for all the action.
Bing helps Bournemouth man create an all singing and dancing marriage proposal!
As part Microsoft’s Bing is for Doing campaign, Andrew Hall, a local security guard from Bournemouth, got in touch with the Bing team and asked them if they would help him create an extra special wedding proposal for his girlfriend, Katie Paton. The Bing team thought it was a fantastic idea and last week helped him to create an all singing and dancing marriage proposal in Bournemouth’s town centre.
