Rugby being the national sport of New Zealand, it’s not surprising that even some of the schools rugby is played at an incredibly intense level. This video gives an example of that intensity with a massive hit by Wanganui Collegiate player Ruslan Casey on Kip Fawcett from St. Pauls Collegiate. The hit is so hard it is met with gasps from the crowd. Credit: YouTube/BenSutherland.
Two brothers, Ben and Andrew Donegan, and their friend Joel Ryan had a chance encounter with a rogue great white shark off the coast of Portland, Australia, on January 27. The friends were out on a routine fishing trip when the 5-meter shark began to circle their boat. As the shark circled the men decided to try and pet it. The animal suddenly became aggressive and tried to take a bite out of the boat, according to news reports. Credit: YouTube/Joel Ryan
