A railroad bridge across the Colorado River between San Saba and Lometa in Texas in the US burned down on May 20, and could cost the state up to $10million to repair. According to reports, the bridge fire started a little after 4pm on May 19 but firefighters decided to let it burn out as it was dangerous to approach the bridge. Then, on the afternoon of May 20, the structure finally gave way in dramatic fashion. Credit: YouTube/Jamie Smart.
